DanceOutfitters is a Virginia based "S Class" Corporation, privately owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Teresa and Ken Wood. Established in June of 2004, our goal is to give you best in customer service that you should expect when shopping a small, family owned business. We are dance parents too, so we fully understand the type of service, selection, and low prices you are looking for. We specialize in working with the first time dance parent and student, helping you choose what will work best for them to succeed in their dance training. We work closely with the teachers and owners of most local studios, and many times can take you straight to the items you'll need, by just getting the name of the studio you take instruction at!

And for the professional oriented dancer, we pride ourselves in staying updated and stocking whatever is on the cutting edge in dancewear and shoes. So if you need help in selecting from our 22+ models of Pointe shoes, or a leather/lycra Nimbus Jazz shoe, or even have the need for a custom built K360 tap shoe (yes, we stock them!..... heard of Savigon Glover?.... he wears em!), we can help.

Many of our customers depend on our professional fitting advice and shoes, not only for their local training, but for use at world reknown schools such as Juilliard, ABT and the Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington.
